OUR STORY
KORORIN is named after a Japanese fairy tale “ Omusubi Kororin.” Onigiri has been part of the Japanese diet for a long time. Our founder Yuta, from Tokyo, also loves onigiri and misses enjoying onigiri in America. In July 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, he launched onigiri with his business partner Cristina, using his own car to drop off onigiris in random parking spots in Chicago.
